How Effective is Acupuncture for Allergies?
It’s great when an MD is stating that acupuncture may in fact be effective for treating allergies. But what’s not great is that she is saying it’s not been shown to be proven to be effective as of yet.

Actually it has been proven and there is plenty of studies on the treatment of allergies using both acupuncture and Chinese herbs.
Sometimes MD’s only read literature they have available to them as an MD and they don’t bother doing further research.
But there are plenty of journals which show many studies on exactly how and why acupuncture and Chinese herbs are so effective, and without the side effects of drugs.
I have had many allergy patients over my 30+ years of practice. As proof of how efective the treatment is, most of my allergy patients come in for a treatment at the same time – i.e. when there are Santa Ana winds, or during the spring season.
